Our latest journal publication presents the design and the implementation details of a federated interoperability enabler for digital platform ecosystems, which is created during the EU funded projects EFPF (). The designed platform ecosystem enabler provides an easy and innovative way to compose tools and services from the existing platforms. We call such an enabler the Data Spine and in the paper, apart from the design and its reference implementation, we also discuss a quantitative evaluation of its performances.
